The Mustangs women's cross-country team took home the CIS silver medal while the men's team placed 10th on home turf as Western hosted the CIS Cross-Country Championships Saturday afternoon for the second consecutive year at Thames Valley Golf Course. A total of 141 athletes from 27 schools competed at noon in the women's six-kilometre race while 131 runners from 23 institutions lined the start for the 10-kilometre men's event at 1 p.m.
